THE LUGER SAILBOAT MOORING - SERVING LUGER SAILORS AND THE WEB SINCE 1999 AT HOME PORT  WWW.LUGERBOATS.COM

THE LUGER SAILBOAT MOORING IS THE REFERENCE WEBSITE FOR LUGER BOATS, LUGER INDUSTRIES & LUGER YACHTS!

Dear Luger Enthusiasts:  Please excuse various service disruptions that our website will experience for the next two or three weeks (broken links, lost pages, etc.)  In the past year, THREE of our web hosts decided to close  bandwidths reserved for publishing websites, in order...

"...to focus on helping customers explore and build relationships online in other ways."
Some broken links have already been removed, but will be restored.  The Luger Sailboat Mooring will do its best to make a transition to new hosts as soon as possible.

The Luger Sailboat Mooring at  www.lugerboats.com is the reference website for Luger Boats.  Originally created in 1999 as a personal homepage to find other Luger owners, the website has evolved to include an extensive resource of photographs and diagrams, catalog descriptions & specifications, original articles, an established owner registration and many other useful links.

Luger Industries, Inc. began selling wooden kit boats in 1952, pioneered the all-fiberglass kit boat market in 1959, and was soon considered "The World's Largest Manufacturer of Kit Boats".  Luger Boats closed for business in 1987, after 35 successful years in the marine industry.

Do you own a
Luger Sailboat?

Hey Sailor!  Do you
Speak Luger?

Wish you had a
Luger Catalog?

Copies of the 1987 Luger Catalog are available.  The 48-page catalogs are still  in the original printer's box. Only $5 each (or, 2 for $8) ...and postage is included! Use one as a "working" copy, and the other on the coffee table.  E-mail for info.

Consider sending your information to The Luger Owners Register.  A register of owners can provide a 'network of information for a particular need.  YOU could be a valuable source of information to another owner, or vice-versa.

Yahoo's Luger Message Board invites owners to suggest ideas, ask advice, share your successes, or discuss problems.  It's a great gathering place!  Prefer a simpler board with no registration?  Visit our Luger CGI Forum!

Luger Owners:  Got any Plans?

If you have diagrams or instructions and can scan your material into a JPEG or GIF image file, your information could be valuable to another Luger owner.  If you have documents to share, please e-mail your material to lugerboats@yahoo.com

Consider contributing!  When you realize the "youngest" Luger documents are now over 20 years old (...and much of it is over 30), it's not surprising some material on this website is "less than ideal". The Luger Sailboat Mooring will post the best images available - but if you are able to replace a current diagram with something more legible, please contact us.

If you need diagrams or instructions and you can benefit from the material on The Luger Sailboat Mooring, then the website has served its purpose. You are welcome to use the images and supporting text for your project. There is no membership application, requirements or fees.

But if your need goes beyond "fair use", please recognize the this website's supporters by giving www.lugerboats.com credit as the source. This "courtesy of acknowledgement" increases the website's exposure, prompting additional contributions of information. This benefits everyone.
